Such a happy hoop! Jeroen: “We threw Stephanie, my niece, a surprise party after her internship in New York. The smiley balloon – a present from her best friend – was part of the surprise. This picture was actually taken by Stephanie’s sister, Simone. She is totally hooked to Cucalu now, too!”
A highway hoop! Martijn: “Although I’m not a big fan of using my phone while driving, I couldn’t resist taking this picture. I stayed behind the big truck long enough to let the truck perfectly match Cucalu’s predefined shape. I try to keep away from the obvious and very ‘visible’ shapes, always aiming for a golden medal!”
A staged circle! Ramin: “When I looked around the house for a perfectly round shape to shoot, my girlfriend decided to help me out. She turned to me and said: “Looking for something like this?” I immediately snapped the picture.”
Spiderman or Nomad? Fons: “This is Bruun, my son. He wanted to be Spiderman, though at this point he was convinced to be Nomad from the comic Storm, one of his current favorites . We didn’t quite make it to Spiderman, though. But while taking some pictures of him I realized his face is very Cucalu-proof.”
Round and rusty! Paula: “I started spotting circles for Cucalu, when lying on my bed in my house in São Paolo. A little lazy, I peeked out of the window for something cool.. and I spotted this rusted one!”
